2021 show a number of people asked for advice on showing, standards etc

2 Books have I have found useful
1) The Great British Village Show (RHS)
Covers Fruit, Vegetables, Flowers, Domestic and Wines
2) The RHS Horticultural Show Hand book, the one the judges use for Flowers and Veg
Note: Standards do change overtime, so beware very old versions

I've given some examples of the contents in these books below,
But to Summarise, points are awarded for different aspects
If multiple items are submitted they should all be close in size and shape,
unless told otherwise
Should be fresh and yes the judges can tell
Well presented
Free of defects
I'm told this is a useful site
