Grindleford Horticultural Society meets 7.30 PM on 3rd Tuesday of the month in Bishop Pavilion, by the cricket pitch in Grindleford, most months of the year, however we are doing some Saturday morning talks as well, please see programme.
The society arranges talks and a variety of garden visits throughout the year, Please see programme for full details. The annual Horticultural show in August is the highlight of the year and is full community event, with members and other villagers getting involved.
The talks are not just based around horticulture, they take in a range of subjects from history of local places, environment and health issues as well. Visits may be to well known gardens or local keen gardeners prepared to let us get inspiration from their efforts.
Talks are free for members, non members may attend 1 talk per year
